Airtel Smart Plans Service: is a Retail Post-paid offer, that is a hybrid solution offering Data, Minutes and SMS in a combo package. The plans come with four tailored offers valid for 30 days i.e.: Gold, Platinum, Gold Plus and Platinum Plus with the product resources as below:

Commission and Incentive Structure

The following are terms that will guide the commission payments to participating parties as per the policies approved:

Self-Activation

How does the customer activate Smart plans?

  • The customer can activate by dialing *188# or use the MyAirtel App
  • The Customer will select option 3: Airtel Smart plans
  • Customer will select option 1: self-activate
  • Choose the preferred Offer either: Gold, Platinum, Gold Plus, Platinum Plus
  • Choose the payment option; Airtime, Airtel Money or Autorenewal
  • Confirmatory SMS will be received confirming resources received and product Validity.
  • The bundles are also available on *100# under option 6 and will soon be available on the Selfcare App

• Customer can check balance using the normal USSD code *131# or use the MyAirtel App

Can a customer under the smart plan activate any other normal Airtel bundle?

• Yes, a customer under smart plan can activate any other open market airtel bundles.

How does a customer opt out of the smart plan?

• Through dialing USSD code *100# or *188# customer can go to option 6 and select deactivate to opt out of the smart plan.

• The customer should confirm to be deactivated.

• The customer’s dependents will not be able to share his resources after deactivation.

 

• The customer can activate by dialing *126*6#

• The Customer will select option 3: Airtel Smart plans

• Choose the preferred Offer: Gold, Platinum, Gold Plus, Platinum Plus.

• Enter Agent Code

• Choose the payment Option; Airtime, Airtel Money, Autorenewal

• Confirmatory SMS will be received confirming resources received and product Validity.

All prepaid and hybrid are KYC registered and have 1-month advance payment for the respective Airtel Smart Plans package.

• Gold at 60,000 shs.

• Platinum at 110,000 shs.

• Gold Plus 150,000 shs.

• Platinum Plus 250,000 shs.

 

All resources are valid for 30days.

The customer can boost their Airtel Smart Plan account with Booster bundles below;

Each Airtel Smart Plan account can be shared among 4 dependents

On the USSD menu dial *188# select option 3, then option 1 and choose Add Friends and Family to add/Remove dependents.
